We’re so excited to have you join the Bristol community. If you’re looking for a more synchronous Orientation experience than completing the self-paced online Orientation by yourself, Bristol has lots of options for you! Read on to learn more.
 

Face-to-Face Orientation
(2.5 Hours, plus an optional 30 minute tour)

Want to come to campus for a fully face-to-face (in person) orientation? Sign up for a Face-to-Face Orientation at the campus that works best for you!

During this in-person session, you’ll receive your orientation content in a group session that includes presentations from multiple College offices as well as your assigned academic advisor. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore campus.

At the end, you’ll be able to set up a one-on-one appointment with your assigned advisor to select your first semester courses.

Ready to sign-up for a Face-to-Face Orientation? Follows these steps:

1. Select an available date on the calendar (highlighted in green).
2. Complete the registration form
3. Once registered, continue to check your email for important information and details leading up to the orientation.

Happy to do the self-paced orientation but would like to do so in a campus environment with staff support nearby? Sign up for an on-campus Online Orientation with In-Person Support session.

You’ll be in a computer lab at our Fall River campus location.

The self-paced orientation content should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete, and you’ll have a representative from the Office of Advising & Success in the room if you have any questions or need extra support.

After you finish, you will be able to explore the campus on your own. Within 72 hours (about 3 days), you’ll be assigned your academic advisor and get instructions for setting up an appointment with them to select classes.
